After 4 years of use as our daily workhorse our Tithonus’s paintwork was in need of a tidy up. August bank holiday weekend gave the ideal opportunity although trying to prep and paint in 3 days and dodge the usual bank holiday wet weather proved a challenge, but it made it back to work on the Tuesday morning, hopefully fit for another few years..

Tithonus. As received 2 1/2 years ago. It was purchased as a non runner, although it did run but had suffered transfer box failure, after a replacement was fitted it was Mot’d and registered, it quickly became apparent that as an everyday vehicle the 2.5N/A was a little underpowered and replaced with a 200Tdi which created a very useable reliable tool, It is still used daily, and undertakes all the hard work with ease.

After many years searching for an affordable Wolf this was purchased last July with the simply intentions of a quick tidy and to re sell to fund a better example.

However things quickly got carried away and a full strip down and rebuild commenced, the pictures tell a brief story of the project, it now resides in our collection and is used only on sunny days.
